Prime Minister Charlot Salwai told Inter Secondary School Sports competition in Luganville last week that government wants more gold medals during next South Pacific Mini Games which will be hosted in Port Vila next year. Mr Salwai said that government is committed to help develop sports in the level of the schools. He told more than 3 000 students at Sapi Stadium that the development of the sports is in their hands. He told them that he expected to see some of them competing in the South Pacific Games in Port Vila. Prime minister said that before Mini Games, they will be National Games. Mr Salwai told the students that government of China is ready to help the best athletes to under go training program in China before the games.
