Solomon Islands help to dispatch ballot boxes

Solomon Islands patrol boat, Auki left Port Vila this morning to dispatch ballot boxes and papers from Shepherds group in North Efate, Malampa, Penama, Sanma and Torba province.
The electoral office reported that Solomon Islands patrol boat left Port Vila at the early morning hours this morning and it is expected to deliver the ballot boxes and ballot papers in the all islands of Torba province before election day on Friday.
The electoral office said Patrol Auki will to the islands that are not reachable by plane. Vanuatu patrol boat, RVS Tukoro is still at Mala wharf in Port Vila ready to undergo repair in Australia following the damage during cyclone Pam last year. The electoral office will spend over 70 million vatu for this snap election on Friday.
