The sentencing of the Police Commissioner, John Taleo has been adjourned from 10h00 this morning to 15h00 this afternoon.
Magistrate court has already convicted him over careless and reckless driving.
Last week, a group of police officers headed by Superintendent, Jackson Noal wrote a letter to the chairman of Police Service Commission, Herve Hopkins to dismiss him.
As a result of the letter to the commission, care taker prime minister Sato Kilman who is minister responsible for Vanuatu Police Force suspended before yesterday Superintendent Noal.
It remains to be seen if Police Service Commission will dismiss Mr Taleo following his sentencing this afternoon. Mr Taleo was suspended following his accident last year during Joe Natuman’s government but was re-instated by Kilman’s government.
